Our San guide is professionally equipped and shall set up a great camp, having access to unique and scenic enclaves in the Delta. Philemon, is not just uncanny and amazing as a tracker and hots in the field, he has an unassuming and endearing charm that is totally captivating.  He speaks fluent english, is a local born in the area and very well connected to all headman and chiefs, simply put, he is just amazing to watch when at work in his bush.

We will be able to do am and pm off-board safaris, mokoro safaris, walks, sits, waits, even visit traditional villages if you fancy. What you see on a walk is very different to what you see on a game drive, but you will enjoy the intimacy of the experience, the perspective and the exposure to all things great and small...and the time to appreciate them.

　

7 October

　

Today we kick –start with an early departure from camp to reach Maun by noon. On arrival we will be collected by our next set of guides and camp staff, bundled into our 4x4 Safari vehicles and set off towards Moremi game Reserve ( 3 hrs away). We will arrive in our private camp in the afternoon, and once we have freshened up a bit, we will set off on our first game drive!　

　

8 - 9 October

　

For two full days we will explore Moremi Game Reserve and the edges of the Okavango Delta through morning and afternoon game drives with a break in between for lunch and siesta at our private camp.　 Moremi is the protected extension of the Okavango Delta and offers a typical wetland system with grassy plains and pans, surrounded by well-developed mopane forests and riverine woodland.

Huge breeding herds of elephant are common, as are lechwe, waterbuck, impala, and hippopotamus.　 One can also hope to see buffalo, giraffe, bushbuck, lion, wild dog, leopard, cheetah, black-backed and side striped Jackal, zebra, wildebeest, tsessebe, bush babies, fruit bats, sable, kudu, roan antelope, steenbok, duiker, honey badger.　

The birdlife includes water birds as well as dry land birds, and is prolific!

　

10 October

　

An early start to break up camp and drive to Savute in the south-west region of Chobe National Park. As the backup team pack up camp for moving day, we will enjoy a short game drive in Moremi with our guide.　 Then we will drive to Savute in convoy, stopping for a packed lunch en route, while the back up team goes ahead to set up camp. The drive is about 4-5 hours through community and National park areas.

　

11 October

　

We will have the whole day to explore Savute. An early start in the morning with a break in camp during the heat of the day for lunch and a rest, then back out in the afternoon to ensure the best chances of seeing loads of game before enjoying a hot bush shower and dinner under the stars.

The marsh in Savute is typical grassland surrounded by Acacia bush and stony outcrops. Savute is famous for its lone elephant bulls, its lions and hyenas as well as the zebra and wildebeest migrations.

　

12 October

　

Drive to Kasane, where we will stay at Waterlily lodge.　 In the afternoon we will visit the NEW!! Elephant hide at Senyati from where we will be able to photograph these creatures from a low and very unusual but utterly special angle and at extremely close range.

　

13 October

　

We spend a full day in Chobe NP. The morning game activity will take place on the river on a state of the art photographic boat in search of wildlife. Whilst in the afternoon we will discover the interior of Chobe NP aboard a modified Photo-unimog!

　

14 October

　

Our last morning will be spent at the river again, and in the afternoon we will transfer by road to Victoria Falls. At Vic falls we will stay at the brand new and recently opened Cresta Sprayview Hotel.　

15 - 16 October

　

During the next two days, we can do as we please.　 The choices of activities to do here are limitless, and of course a visit to the falls will be "compulsory". Everyone can book themselves on any of the adrenalin pumping, romantic, discovery, daring and endearing activities that Vic Falls offers its visitors…whether it is kayak, canoe, abseil, river board, swing through the gorge, bungee jump, and horse ride, to fly high above the falls in a helicopter, have high tea at the royal Livingstone, or a romantic dinner at an island above the falls.

Transfer to Vic Falls Airport for Johannesburg departure.
